A vocational language course (BSK) is a state-subsidized course for immigrants that teaches job-related German. Trainees, employees, job seekers, or people in the recognition process can participate.
A Job – Professional Language Course is a subsidized language program for immigrants that builds job-related language skills. It focuses on technical vocabulary, workplace communication, professional texts, and application training to strengthen confidence at work.
The “Life in Germany” (LiD) exam is the final test of the orientation course in the integration course. It tests knowledge of society, law, history, and culture and is important for course completion, residence permits, and naturalization.
The German Test for Immigrants (DTZ) is the official language test taken at the end of the integration course. It certifies German language skills at levels A2 or B1 and is important for integration, employment, and residence permit procedures.
